If you want to provide the storyboard for your video, this video shows our recommended way to create a storyboard that clearly documents your instructions for our production team.

Download the storyboard template and paste it in PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote. (https://www.videoigniter.com/storyboard.zip)

Each slide contains four parts. The first is the script.

Start by pasting the first sentence of your script in the lower left hand corner.

Then, create another page and paste in the second sentence. Repeat for your whole script.

Sometimes it makes sense to break a sentence into multiple slides if there is a lot of visual information you need to describe.

If you do this, it is helpful to make the relevant part of the script bold for each slide.

The next section of the storyboard is the scene-sketch mockup.

It greatly helps the production team if you can create a rough sketch of what you want to show. Take a picture with your phone and paste it in the document. Or you can use free icons and images you find online to mockup each scene.

Feel free to break a slide up into multiple slides if it makes it easier to document your ideas.

And don't worry about making your mockups look perfect. It's our job to make your ideas look good.

The next part of the storyboard is a bulletpoint list detailing what is happening on screen.

For example: Show an island in the water. From the right, a pirate ship approaches the island.

The last part of the storyboard is to create a list of the assets needed for this scene. Here's what I would write for this scene.

When you are done creating your storyboard, save it as a PDF and upload it to Video Igniter when filling out the questionnaire for your video.

After you save and pay half of your video's production budget, you will receive email notifications when your concept art, soundtrack options and voice over auditions are ready to review.
